Are you getting enough of the Super Vitamin?

As you learned last week, vitamin D deficiency is linked to physical illnesses. Here is another study that supports this:

A study conducted at the University of Hawaii found that low vitamin D intake may be associated with risk of stroke. The study involved 8,006 Japanese-American men, ages 45-68 years at the start (1965-1968) who were followed for over 34 years (the study ended in 1999). The study found that vitamin D deficiency may be tied to increased risk of stroke. The results suggest that low dietary vitamin D intake may be an independent risk factor for stroke.
