It is time to move off the merry-go-round that keeps circling. I have never been successful at New Year’s Resolutions. Those resolutions create stress, guilt and feeling failure of broken promises. The year of 2020, is the time to build from 2019. Build on the foundation I have already created in my evolution and lifestyle.
No one needs to make another (failed) promise to get a massage, eat more broccoli, or run a first-time marathon. In 2019, what did you create or learn to help you be a better person? How does this need to continue and expand?
This year set your intentions by bringing “Gratitude” into your life and mantras to carry you through your days with ease and grace. I recently completed 28 day Gratitude Journey with a wonderful group of people being guided by the book “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne. This unfolded in so many ways to compliment my journey. For example, I found an unknown $100 bill in my purse, green lights on traffic signals, and life became easier. This has made such difference. I am now applying this to self-care.
Self-care intentions/mantras become habits. Self-care is your thoughts, eliminating judgments, being happy, examining the value of relationships, looking how time is spent, holding accountability with finances, and loving people for who they are. Self-care is you living in gratitude, integrity and authenticity.
2020 is going to be Amazing
Do you need reminders of the intentions or values you embrace? Snap a picture of your intentions/values that you have written, use it as your phone’s wallpaper. The average smartphone user checks their phone 58 times a day. This is a great reminder to enhance your intentions.
My phone wallpaper says, “I live in the presence of miracles”.
